Impossible Cheeseburger Pie

Flip it!

Came out perfect. I thought it would be runny. Was a hit with everyone. I served it with catsup and a salad. I was not expecting it to be so tasty.

How easy can a recipe be? No wonder it’s been on the Bisquick box for years! Made it tonight for my wife & myself…we love it! It’s easy, and it’s adaptable. I included mushrooms in it tonight. Will likely try taco seasoning with ground beef next time.

I prepare this meal periodically for my fiance he loves cheese burgers he will literally eat them daily for lunch or dinner. Today I am going to make 2 , for the uncertain people try more ingredients and seasonings and different cheese’s will make a big difference!

Made this recently. It was fairly easy to make. Husband loved it. Most of the time his comments are it is okay. But for this, he was saying how good it was. So this recipe is a keeper.

This was super easy for me, a novice at the oven. Worked out great, and I can see where I can easily modify this like adding mushrooms, etc. I’ll definitely be making this again and sharing the recipe!

Ingredients:

1 small cabbage, chopped
6 to 8 green or red tomatoes, chopped
6 medium bell peppers, chopped
6 large onions, chopped
2 hot peppers, chopped
3 cups sugar
5 cups white vinegar
1/4 cup salt or pickling salt

Instructions:

Put all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until desired tenderness is achieved.
This recipe is designed to be put in pint jars and sealed. Makes 8 to 9 pints. But you could cut recipe down to use for one night of dinner.
