This dated bathroom was in dire need of a makeover! From white, pink and green to a beautiful Black & White Bath!
After purchasing our “new” home, I knew this bathroom would have to get a complete makeover! It was very dated with large white floor tiles with green grout, white tub tiles with a pink and green tile border, dated maple cabinetry and boring vanity light fixture.
The cabinetry was actually in great condition, solid maple just so dated. We chose to save the cabinet base and just ordered new cabinet doors and drawer fronts from BarkerDoor.com
Once we had the new cabinet door and drawer fronts we painted them as well as the cabinet base. Just painting the cabinetry made a drastic difference in the bathroom!

All the tile on the tub surround was in fabulous condition, but was quite the eyesore! Check out that tile! It was hard to even be in this space and feel at home when the colors just didn’t represent us.
The tiling took us about a week, working on it in the evenings after work. We are amateurs at this so it was slow going, but we are thrilled with the results.
We removed the plate glass mirror, applied shiplap to the wall above the vanity and found this fabulous vintage mirror. Two pendant lights replaced the dated brass vanity light. We topped the vanity with a remnant piece of Carrera marble.
