The recall occurred after JBS USA, Inc. received a call from someone who found pieces of hard, blue plastic in their ground beef product and, while no cases of adverse reactions have been reported yet, customers are urged to check their fridges and freezers, looking for raw ground beef products with the establishment number, “EST. 34176.” Anything that matches should be discarded or returned to the original place of purchase.
