I love butter pecan cookies! I love the way they melt in your mouth. I love the taste of pecans, and of course the taste of butter. These cookies lasted about an hour here.

Butter Pecan Cookies are packed with buttered pecans, nutty browned butter, and caramely brown sugar – with crisp edges and rich, chewy centers. If a pecan praline were to turn itself into a cookie, this is exactly what it would taste like!

These easy homemade Butter Pecan Cookies are crunchy, soft, chewy and buttery. They get even better the second day too, making them a great cookie to make ahead!

These delicate, buttery cookies, which get their crunchy texture from toasted pecans and a sugar coating, practically melt in your mouth.

° Roasted and roughly chopped pecans – three quarters of a cup

° Flour – a cup and a quarter

° Sodium bicarbonate – half a teaspoon

* Ingredients

° Roasted and roughly chopped pecans – three quarters of a cup

° Flour – a cup and a quarter

° Sodium bicarbonate – half a teaspoon

° Salt – a quarter of a teaspoon

° Starch – half a teaspoon

° Butter – 115 gr

° Light brown sugar – half a cup

° White sugar – a quarter cup

° Eggs – 1

° Vanilla – a small spoon

* The method of work :

1- In a bowl, put the walnuts, flour, baking soda, salt and starch. Permit dry ingredients apart .

2- In an electric mixer, mix the butter with the two types of sugar to get a light texture.

3- Add egg also vanilla & whisk .

4- Put dry ingredients and blend .

5- Put the mixture in the refrigerator for 3 hours.

6- Take an amount of the dough and make it round to the size you want.

7- Drain the cookies on a tray, leaving a 3cm space between them.

8- Put the tray into a pre-heated oven at 170 ° C for 12 to 14 minutes, until the edges are golden in color.

9- Take the cookies out of the oven, let them cool on the tray, then take them out
