These cookie bars are quicker and easier than cookies but taste just as good and are best served while warm. We often serve them with ice cream, and I can safely say EVERYONE in the family loves them.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
- In a medium bowl, stir together melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and egg until well combined.
- Add flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda and stir to combine.
- Stir in chocolate chips and pour into prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes. Enjoy!
