Classic Rum Balls without Rum

One of my favorite parts of this festive season would have to be all of the small nibbles and bites that are served at holiday gatherings and cocktail parties. Admittedly, they’re also the most dangerous because they’re so tiny and so easy to eat so many, but those irresistible sweet confections and savory bites are what make part of holiday cooking, baking, and eating so fun. Some of my favorite holiday treats are retro classics and I just adore this recipe for a classic rum ball.

Classic Rum Balls made with crushed vanilla wafers, toasted pecans, rum, and bourbon. Once formed they are rolled in sugar for an extra layer of sweetness. One of my favorite Christmas holiday candies.

This is the best classic rum balls recipe you can find around and can be made in no time all year round when you have leftover cake or for the holidays.
