GOOD MORNING BERRY POMEGRANATE SMOOTHIE

Via Flickr

This fruit-packed smoothie is a little sweet, a little tart and a whole lot of healthy. Frozen fruit makes it extra thick and creamy, a treat! Make it for breakfast and you’ll feel satisfied until lunchtime.

Pomegranate juice is jam-packed with antioxidants but it also happens to be delicious and adds just the right tart-sweet component to this smoothie. Just make sure you pick up a brand that is pure pomegranate juice, not a mixture that contains a bunch of sugar.

Five simple ingredients are all you’ll need. As you can see, I buy bagged frozen berries. These are a great freezer staple because they keep for months on end, and are cheaper and more convenient than fresh berries.

This smoothie is thick, creamy, filled with antioxidants, and completely delicious. Plus, with juicy berries and pomegranate, it’s flu-fighting too.
