Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef
1 onion, finely diced
4 potatoes, diced
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup fresh milk
Seasonings: 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons golden bread crumbs

Directions:

Brown the ground beef and onions in a skillet, draining excess moisture.

In the slow cooker, layer diced potatoes and the browned beef-onion mix.

In a mixing bowl, combine mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour this over the beef and potatoes.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours in the slow cooker.

About an hour before it’s done, sprinkle shredded cheese and bread crumbs on top.

Cover and let the cheese melt into a golden layer.
