Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

I was looking all over for a recipe for a 10-pound boneless turkey breast and couldn’t really find any, so I figured I would just whip up my own. It turned out delicious.

TOP Reviews for Slow Cooker Turkey Breast:

Delicious! I did a 5lb turkey breast and halved everything with it keeping the same cook time and it came out perfect. It was moist and the seasonings tasted great.

This was great! Made it in addition to our Easter ham and it was a hit- very tender and flavorful, so easy too. I will definitely make this again.

The combination of herbs and spices makes this a tasty and easy dinner addition. The ease of cooking it in a slow cooker only makes you love it that much more. I used a frozen Butterball 3 pound turkey breast and followed the directions. it was so good I had to add it to my recipe box!

I used 8lb bone-in turkey breast and only 1 envelope of onion soup; plus the other spices ( just slightly less) This fit in my 6 qt. slow cooker very nicely. It was fabulous; meat fell right off the bone after 8-9 hours. I used the broth for au-jus which was delicious. Meat was tender and moist; very tasty.

I prepared this for the first time on Thanksgiving this year and got raves all around. Used Herb Lipton instead of Onion Lipton and it was wonderful! My son asked how to make it for his family. Couldn’t get a better compliment than that.

Yum.. loved this. I had a small boneless breast so I reduced the cooking time to 5 hours on low and it was perfect.. nice and moist and I loved the herb crust

I LOVED this recipe! The turkey breast was very moist, tender, and extremely flavorful. It was the best turkey I’ve ever had! Thanks for sharing.

I was looking all over for a recipe for a 10-pound boneless turkey breast and couldn’t really find any, so I figured I would just whip up my own. It turned out delicious.

Ingredients

1 (10 pound) boneless turkey breast
2 (1 ounce) packages dry onion soup mix
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon seasoned salt (such as Season-All(R))
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried oregano

Directions

Place turkey breast into a large slow cooker. Whisk onion soup mix and water in a bowl and pour the mixture over the turkey breast, spreading it out to evenly cover the meat.
Stir garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, seasoned salt, basil, and oregano in a bowl until thoroughly combined; sprinkle the seasonings over the turkey breast.
Cook on Low until turkey is very tender and the seasonings have flavored the meat, 8 to 9 hours. An instant-read meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast, not touching bone, should read at least 165 degrees F (75 degrees C).
