It was announced on May 2nd that Kroger supplier, JBS USA, Inc. is recalling over 35,000 pounds of ground beef product due to a presence of plastic pieces found in the meat. Labeled a Class II recall, ground beef products were produced on March 22nd, 2018, shipped to distribution centers in Indiana and Virginia to then be distributed to retailers, and have a Sell By date of April 9th, 2018.
