Chocolate Fudge Cake

INGREDIENTS :

For cake

* 2 cups all-purpose flour

* 2 cups of sugar

* 2 sticks of butter

* 1 cup of water

* 5 tablespoons cocoa powder

* 2 eggs

* 1/2 cup of milk

* 1 teaspoon baking soda

* 1 teaspoon vanilla

For fudge:

* 1 stick of butter

* 4 tablespoons of milk

* 4 tablespoons cocoa powder

* 1 package (16 ounces) powdered sugar

* 1 teaspoon vanilla

* 1 cup chopped cashews

INSTRUCTIONS :

Blend flour & sugar in large bowl. In a medium saucepan, mix butter, water, and cocoa over medium heat. Bring to a boil and pour over the flour/sugar mixture. Mix well.Adding eggs, milk, baking soda, & vanilla. Pour into a well-greased 9×13 skillet, and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

To make cream of fudge:

In a medium saucepan, combine butter, milk, and cocoa and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, stirring well with a paddle or wooden spoon until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes smooth. Add vanilla and walnuts, then pour over hot cake.
