Ingredients:
1 cup of water
2 1/2 teaspoons of refined sugar
1/2 teaspoons of salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup of flour
2 liters oil, for frying
1/2 cups of refined sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon to taste of cajeta
Instructions:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar, salt, and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
Let them boil and remove from heat. Stir in the flour until a dough forms.
Heat the oil for frying in a deep frying pan or conical saucepan to 190 C.
Place the dough in a pastry bag with a duya or star tip.
Form the churros and fry in the hot oil until golden brown.
Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Mix 1/2 cup of cinnamon sugar. Stir the churros in this mixture.
At the end, put cajeta on top of the churros and enjoy.
