Homemade Hamburger Helper.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup dry macaroni noodles
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

   

PREPARATION:

  1. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat and drain grease.
  2. Add all of the remaining ingredients to the skillet, except for the cheese, and stir to combine.
  3. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce to a simmer.
  4. Let cook 12 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in the cheese and cover.
  6. Let sit 2 minutes and then stir to combine.
  7. Serve.
