9) Castile soap
Castile soap differs from ordinary soap in that it is made using vegetable oils instead of animal fat. It was named after the place where it was first produced – Castile (modern Spain). Due to its excellent fat trapping, biodegradability, and non-toxic properties, Castilian soap has a number of excellent health purposes and those around the house. Use Castile soap as a laundry detergent, floor cleaner, and toilet scrub. You can successfully protect your houseplants from bugs by spraying a mixture of Castilian soap and using the same spray to separate the ants.
10) Borax
Borax (sodium borate) is a natural mineral found in many laundry products, toothpaste and hand soaps. It can be obtained at a grocery store or local store. It is commonly used to deter ants, cockroaches, and other animals from the house, and is also great for absorbing unwanted odors in the house. In combination with other natural scents such as essential oils, borax can be made into a natural air freshener that smells great.
