2 20oz cans of apple pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick unsalted butter
Caramel sauce of choice
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350°
Spray 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
Dump apples into the dish, add cinnamon and nutmeg, stir together.
Drizzle caramel over the apples.
Sprinkle cake mix over apples.
Cut butter into thin slices and cover every part of the cake with butter slices. (Note: our pan is bigger so our butter didn’t cover it all)
Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven. Drizzle with more caramel sauce.
Serve with vanilla ice cream!
