Ingredients:

1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar

Instructions:

Begin by preheating your oven to 320 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl, add the softened butter.
Beat it until it’s light and creamy, which should take about three minutes.
Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and continue to beat for two minutes.
If you’d like to add an extract for extra flavor, do so now, but be cautious not to exceed 2 teaspoons.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure everything is well combined, and beat for another minute or two.
Now, add the flour and baking powder.
Beat these ingredients into the butter and milk mixture until fully incorporated.
If you’re planning to add extras like chocolate chips, cranberries, or chocolate candies, go ahead, but don’t exceed 1 cup.
Using a cookie scoop, portion the dough into mounds on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Make sure to leave at least two inches of space between each dough mound.
Bake in your preheated oven for 12 minutes.
After baking, allow the cookies to cool slightly on the pan for about five minutes.
Finally, transfer the cookies from the baking sheet to a wire cooling rack.
Use a sifter to generously dust the cookies with confectioner’s sugar.
Let the cookies cool completely before storing.
