Ingredients:

For the Chocolate Cake:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 cups of wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder

For the Chocolate Syrup:

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

For the Passion Fruit Mousse:

  • 1 cup of concentrated passion fruit juice
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1/2 box of cream
  • 1 cup of powdered milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and grease a cake mold with butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, melted butter, and milk until well combined.
  3. Add the wheat flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder to the mixture, and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the greased mold and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. While the cake is baking, prepare the chocolate syrup by mixing the milk, sugar, and cocoa powder in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until the sugar and cocoa powder are dissolved. Set aside to cool.
  6. Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Using a skewer or fork, poke holes all over the cake and pour the chocolate syrup over the top, allowing it to soak in.
  7. To make the passion fruit mousse, blend the concentrated passion fruit juice, condensed milk, cream, and powdered milk in a blender until smooth and creamy.
  8. Pour the passion fruit mousse over the top of the cake, spreading it evenly.
  9. Refrigerate the cake for at least 3 hours to allow the mousse to set.
  10. Serve chilled and enjoy the delightful combination of chocolate cake and passion fruit mousse!

Note: You can garnish the cake with fresh passion fruit seeds or chocolate shavings for an extra touch of elegance.
