Soft and Fluffy Milk Brioche: A Sweet Delight

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Add warm milk and eggs to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Gradually add the remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, until the dough is soft but not sticky.
  4. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place them in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  7. Cover the baking dish with a clean towel and let the dough rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Bake the brioche for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Remove the brioche from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
