Yummy candy from the crock pot? Doesn’t get much better than that! It’s never been easier to indulge your sweet tooth… and I couldn’t be happier about it.
This recipe is delicious in its own right; however, after it had set, I drizzled the tops with melted caramel and sprinkled with sea salt. It doubled the “Mmmmm-factor”
I make this all the time and use the recipe exactly as it is. I even had a request to make it for a “Candy Bar” for a wedding and it was wiped out. Love this and it’s so easy!
Up the almond bark to 3lbs. I find it best to cut the recipe in half. Best way to “harden” the candy is to place wax paper on a plate or cookie sheet then drop candies and place in the freezer for 15 minutes. You can also do this but use the refrigerator instead and triple the time.
So easy and delicious! I took these into work and everyone loved them. I used a small cookie scoop and got about 80 pieces – this makes a ton of candy!
This is great, so easy and taste wonderful. I made this to add to my Christmas plates more out of curiosity than anything else and was surprised at how easy it was. I followed the directions to the “T” and it was perfect. Right down to the 1 1/2 hours on low. I’m fortunate that my pot has a keep warm setting so that while I was stirring the candy stayed warm and melted. It dried to a nice shiny gloss and looks AND tastes awesome. It does make a lot of candy – but for the holidays that’s great. I didn’t even need any extra stirring, Just at the end to mix it all up.
