7 peeled and cubed potatoes

3 tablespoons butter

A pinch of onion flakes

2 tablespoons flour

½ cup milk

½ cup water

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Place the peeled and cubed potatoes in a pot, covering them with water about 2 inches above the potatoes.

Bring to a boil and cook until fork-tender but still holding shape. Then, reduce heat to low.

In a separate bowl, mix flour with ½ cup water until smooth.

Gradually add this mixture to the potatoes, stirring constantly. Simmer briefly to thicken the broth. Adjust consistency as desired with more flour or water.

Season with milk, salt, pepper, onion flakes, and butter.
