2 thumbs up! Of all the slow cooker roast recipes I have tried… there have been many due to my hectic schedule, this is by far the easiest and most tasty. I added quartered potatoes and baby carrots to the cooker to complete this meal. The coloring of the veggies due to the packet mixes were inviting. The flavor was exceptional. Used broth in stead of gravy package. Also added a Bud light lime. I through some mushrooms in with my carrots and potatoes on top of the roast. It was great!
Excellent! Easy and flavorful. Used a london broil and the spicy ranch packet. Hubby has been making French Dip sandwiches with the leftovers.
I made this Saturday using the spicy ranch (all the store had) and it was delicious. When you read the combination of mixes it’s hard to envision the end result, but I will make chuck roast this way from now on. Added carrots & potatos the last 3-hrs to round out this meal. Thanks so much…just too easy and full of flavor.
Made this today only exception was I used spicy ranch dressing mix .The flavor was great put it over mashed potatos.Brought some to work and a co worker loved it so much I almost didnt get to taste it ..Thank you so much for the recipe was looking for something different that roast and plain ole gravy and this was it!!
